Our curriculum
is based on Thematic Learning - each month a specific area of learning is the
overall foucs of learning, such as Transportation, Community Helpers,
and Health/Safety. We utilize a pre-planned curriculum called Mother Goose Time that provides
stimulating activities, Developmentally Appropriate learning, as well as the
"good 'ol traditional values" of early exposure to reading and writing.
All planning
coincides with the designated theme and falls within the parameters of
Developmentally Appropriate Practices - learning that motivates and stimulates a
child at a level suitable for their age.
Ethnic diversity is not only present in our
facility, but in our daily lives. To better prepare our children for our
culturally diverse society, we incorporate Multicultural Curriculum into
our programs. We employ individuals from all ethnic backgrounds and
celebrate all knowledge that they have on their culture as they pass it
onto their children. We also include any bi-lingual skills they may have
into our Foreign Language program.
