Enrollment takes time and a lot of attention.  Choosing the right facility can be overwhelming.  The paperwork alone is extensive and can become time consuming.  It is imperative that each family take the time to follow our instructions carefully to essentially ease the process.

First, we begin by scheduling a tour of our site.  Being present in our environment allows you the opportunity to experience the atmosphere that your child will be in each day as well as meet and interview your child's teacher.  We attempt to answer any questions you might have regarding your child's day to day happenings.  We insist that you bring your child for this experience - we like to meet him/her and get an idea of what his/her needs may be.  In addition, it is important that they are explore, early on, the environment that they will be a part of.

Upon completion of this initial meeting, we allow you the opportunity to decide whether or not our progarm is righ for you.  Should you wish to join our family, we then begin the process of completing the necessary enrollment paperwork.

A large manila envelope containing all of the necessary forms for enrollment is prepared and then carefully reviewed with you by an administrative member.  In order to receive this enrollment packet, one of the following must occur:

  • If tuition costs will be paid for by you, the full registration fee may be paid to hold your child's spot.  It is important to remember that we will hold the spot for no more than one week.
  • If tuition costs will be paid for by you, a discounted registration fee can be paid as long as the first weeks tuition is also provided.
  • If you will be receiving government assistance through TANF, CWEE, or Low-Income Child Care, we will take your contact information only.  We must receive either a written or detailed verbal confirmation from your caseworker or technician indicating your household number, authorization dates, authorization limits (if any), and monthly parental fee (if applicable).  Once we have been properly notified, we will then notify you of such authorization and allow you the opportunity to pick-up the enrollment packet.

The administrative staff will take some time to thoroughly review the contents of the enrollment envelope and answer any questions that you might have.  The envelope displays a brief written description of the paperwork enclosed should questions arise at a later date.  It will also detail specific information regarding passcodes, classroom supply list, classroom placement, and instructor information.

*Please be aware that ALL of the enrollment paperwork must be completed before care can begin for your child.

Starting care at a strange new facility, at times, can be particularly traumatic for a child.  Honestly, we find that the entire event is often more difficult for the parents than the child.  We encourage you to contact us as often as needed until the transition period has ended.  We will supply the necessary phone numbers for daily contact, with no limitation on the amount of calls allowed!  Once you have enrolled, we also have an open door policy and welcome you to visit any time!

We welcome you and other family members to take part in our unique learning experience. Please feel free to stop by and observe your child. In order to assure a positive childcare experience, we need you and your family's help, cooperation, strength, guidance, and support in all that we do. The well being of your child is important and the lines of communication must remain open between you and the childcare staff. So take a moment to speak with our staff and learn as much about us as we hope to learn about you.
